Hello all, I'm a long time gamer for the southern US. I started in high-school (my 20yr reunion is coming up  Cry) and have been going since. My first RP loves were Star Frontiers and Gamma World.

I was excited when I found out that Gamma World was being redone, but a little disappointed with the 4e rule-set. I had been hoping for something with a little more 'old school' feel to it. I can't say how happy I was to find Atomic Highway! Nearly everything from Gamma World, with a simple and robust mechanic. I'm loving it. I can hardly wait for the next supplement. Irradiated Freaks was great.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the kinds of things everyone comes up with around here.

    Heya!

    Danish Atomic Highwayman here.

Got interested in AH from what I read on rpg.net and combined with a refound enthusiasm for Hermann (Huppen)s Jeremiah comic books, I just had to pick it up, when a short UK-vacation brought me by Orcs Nest in London.

I really like what I've read so far, and hope to run a game with my regular group based on the before mentioned Jeremiah comics, Fallout, Mad Max and maybe a touch of Stephen Kings The Stand.

I've picked this awesome game up a few days ago and I'm loving it.  Looking forward to running a Road Warrior/Book of Eli.  I have fond memories of the two Gamma World games I played in back in 1979 (I'm hoping to use these rules to recreate that kind of crazy adventuring).

This game is one of the first systems I've read where I wasn't wishing I could change this or that aspect of the rules.  Very well done!

Page 8... a lot of people have introduced themselves so maybe I should as well.

    Howdy all!

I am Burgeri from Finland and design videogames and web entertainment applications for living. I've also written 5 published RPGs myself and three (soon to be four) books. I am here because I didn't write Atomic Highway and now have to steal Colin's brain and take it back to my secret underground laboratory in a jar. Seriously though, I've been running my own stuff for years and years. Atomic Highway is the first RPG in almost a decade that made me break that habit.
