So our usual GM wanted a night off from GMing duties so I ran AH.

The plot was a simple smash and grab in Manhattan.  The PCs were sent by the leader of a bartertown in the remains of the Battery Park section going up to the Bronx.  The gang in the Bronx had stolen some belongings of the bartertown leader and resources of the bartertown.

    Some of the highlights
    - Big Bob, the morbidly obese, bald leader of the Battery Park bartertown who sounds like Truman Capote (which drove one PC close to murder) and was surrounded by semi-nude females and served by eunuchs.
    - The retrieval of a precious set of leatherbound copies of Donahue transcripts with a forward by Alan Alda.
    - Smashing a trog on a hood of a pickup with a Heavy, Vicious Bludgeon.
    - An Outrider (PC) who did terrifying things with a light crossbow.
    - An encounter with a giant cockroach which began with the mutant raider PC saying, "get me a saddle, I'm going to ride it" and ended with him  taking one of the cockroach's young as a pet.
    - Gangers in a truck dragging a cinder block on the end of chain.  Chain wraps around a pillar which yanks the truck in two.
    - An rpg launches a newspaper box into the air and through the window of a truck.

I have a hard time doing serious.

Who said Post-Apoc needs to be serious?

They've obviously never watched Six String Samurai or Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. While that last movie is supposed to be serious, how can you not laugh when you watch it?
