Hey Colin,

I love the look, layout, art, ect. of the products; they are both very attractive and professional looking.  The main issue I'm having is printing, it takes forever to print because of the document size.  Is anyone else having this problem?

What I've seen other gaming companies do is allow layer control on PDFs.  I'm not entirely sure how it works or how difficult it is to set up, but it allows you to "strip away" the background and/or art to allow faster printing and use less printer ink.  I would like to print the background and art, but if I want to print the documents at all I would have to do so without those layers.

Not being a PDF expert, there may be other tactics to allow for easier/printer friendly printing.  Any help on this would be appreciated.

To be honest, I've no idea how to do it either.

I think with the core book  you are screwed.    You can turn off large images and whatnot, but it really doesn't render it print friendly.

You could technically copy and paste into a text doc and fix the formatting and then print it that way.   Won't get much more print friendlier.

I couldn't have said it any better.

I'm sure Adobe Acrobat lets you filter layers too. Perhaps its the storebought version not the free reader. There are numerous other PDF readers and editing suites online just check to find which are the safest to use first.

Otherwise copypasting the text into a document maybe your only safe bet.

I'll probably still be using the original Mutants and Musclecars draft if I run again.
